In February 2003 during a business trip to Espanola, New Mexico, Ridge and Lonnie watched an episode of Tactical to Practical featuring a segement on Airsoft. A phone call was made to Chris our close friend and business partner. Immediately all three began researching Airsoft on the internet and you guessed it......the journey had begun. We envisioned a Team founded on and maintained by a simple motto - Professionalism with Fun. As the founding members we've seen our vision come to fruition and exceed our expectations.

In April 2007 T.E.A.R.S hosted its first statewide event OP " Urgent Fury" in Abilene, Texas with 72 players in attendance.  UF1 was a tremendous success. 

In April 2008 UF2 "Battle for Salinas" was a phenominal success with 196 Airsofters in attendance from 32 teams representing 3 states. UF2 was the Team's first TASO Endorsed Event.  We were honored to have several state University/College teams in attendance.  The Urgent Fury series is a successfull accomplishment of the T.E.A.R.S team vision and a contribution to Texas Airsoft.

In October 2010 T.E.A.R.S celebrated the continuance of Professionalism with Fun by promoting Gary to CO and Rex to XO. These gentlemen will take T.E.A.R.S spirit of excellence to the next level and beyond.

Our Team is comprised of family members and close friends. We do not glorify war. Our Team enjoys teamwork, strategy, the outdoors and all the elements that make the Airsoft experience unique and satisfying. We support and have the highest level of respect for our Armed Forces and their families. We only seek to honor our Armed Forces through our conduct. We are eternally grateful for their sacrifice.
